Hi...

We just received orders for a home care patient .. to pack the right great toe (approx 1cm deep) with iodorform gauze > dsd daily. As there is no caregiver able to learn the dsg change... any suggestions for a treatment that would not involve daily dressing.  pt CRF (dialysis), htn, diabetes, anemia.  I just thought that there may be something better than iodorform... thanks for any help.....
