I have worked in ICU and wound care for the past 8 years. I have an ADN. I am in the process of studying for my CCRN. After that I plan to take my wound certification. Why is it that you can have an ADN and get certified in CCRN but not in ostomy? Why must you have a BSN? i also have certifications in Med-Surg and HBO.

Hi Jacqueline,  I recommend that you pose your question to the WOCNB as they are the organization that sets the eligibiltiy requiremths for the WOCN exam.  You can find them at http://www.wocncb.org/.
