what products do you use toanesthesize topically prior to debridement and how long do you leave it on?

Hi, we have emla cream and we leave it on for 30 minutes but i cant seem to find evidence for this practice, we also use liquid lidocaine 4% and leave on 15 minutes,  im wondering what else is used and how long u leave it on
