"With the RTD, it can be applied without any secondary dressing. You only need to change this dressing, based on exudate management every 2-3.. you will find that the wound stills stays moist and there are no debridement issues. I hope this helps.."

Thank you for your question. As you know, any wound can deteriorate rapidly without proper care. However, there are two types of wound that can deteriorate rapidly even with the proper care: Kennedy terminal ulcers and deep-tissue injury in pressure ulcers.
Kennedy terminal ulcers, which can occur at the very end of life, are notoriously difficult to manage, and rapid deterioration is often inevitable. Deep tissue injury within a pressure ulcer may result in a shallow-looking wound, but the harmful deep tissue injury is not readily visible - again leading to rapid deterioration.
