I've worked with podiatrists in Oregon, and while they may have known podiatry, they certainly didn't know wound care.

I have a question? I have been told by 2 podiatrists, that they feel they would and will pass the CWS exam without taking any course, because they feel they know enough, even more than the exam would teach them... I am confused,, wound care is a specialty, correct?

I enjoyed the comments and agree 100% with them... I am so glad that I have my CWCA...Thanks wound educators. com.. It was easy to go to school and learn at my own pace , in my own home... I still continue to promote the course to our facility podiatrist and fellow nurses.
